In-house vacuum maintenance. We serve plenty of houses daily, taking care of our tools is important, like the vacuum we use. We make sure it is efficient. Maintaining many vacuums in our office is one task I like to do. The vacuums we use are commercially made for heavy work. It has a HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) double-layer filter vacuum bag. The type of bag that trappedĀ dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles.

With my 10 years of experience cleaning houses, I learned to fix and maintain the vacuums. Before, I paid a lot of money and wasted many hours traveling to places to have our vacuum fixed. Fortunately, one of the vacuum technicians in the vacuum shop thought me how to fix and maintain the vacuums.

In the beginning, I was afraid to try to fix the vacuums. I started with cleaning the brushes then slowly I figured out the part one by one. Then a few months ago, COVID-19 show up. Things changed. I learned to fix the vacuums. The pandemic made me realize, being scarred will not help me.

I can only help myself. This tiny additional knowledge of fixing the vacuum helped me not just with a new skill. I have gained extra confidence. We no longer rely on vacuum repairmen/shops. I can maintain and fix the vacuum in-house. We bought the tools I need and most of the available parts. Now, I rarely need a vacuum shop for repairs. I can do it, I can fix the vacuums!!!!
